Christmas Dinner Boxes!

Good afternoon and Happy December from the Moss Organics team!

As we head into the colder weeks, we’ve got a few important winter updates: our Certified-Organic Christmas Dinner Boxes are now open for order, we’ve made some temporary changes to delivery and collection dates over the Christmas week, and we need to know if access to your home will be difficult in wintry weather.

We’re also sharing our holiday opening hours, first January deliveries, and a request for referrals and Google reviews.

Organic Christmas Dinner Boxes

We now sell Christmas Dinner Boxes - as locally-sourced as possible, 100% organic, and portioned generously. Each box is designed for roughly 3-4, 5-6, or 7-8 people (with leftovers!). If you’re hosting an even bigger gathering, let us know and we’ll arrange a bumper box.

Important Winter Access Information

With snow and ice a more frequent feature of our daily lives, we need to stress this strongly: if winter access to your home is tricky, please tell us now.

It makes a big difference to route planning, safe driving, and - most importantly - making sure you receive your veg!

Week 52 Christmas Deliveries

Christmas falls on a Thursday on week 52 of the year (Monday 22nd-Sunday 28th), so if you are in the A7 run, East of Eildons run, or Berwickshire run (Wednesday, Friday, or Saturday deliveries), please note: There will be NO deliveries in Week 52.

Instead, you can collect your veg box from our Tweedbank workshop anytime between 9am-4pm on Christmas Eve - we’ll contact you to make arrangements.
 
Customers in the Tweed Valley (Tuesday delivery runs) will receive their boxes as normal in Week 52.

Christmas Opening Dates

• Last delivery day: Tuesday 23 December (Tweed Valley).
• Christmas Eve: Customer collection from Tweedbank, 9am-4pm.
• Deliveries resume: Tuesday 6th January.
 

Please remember to order a little extra for the gap between Christmas and New Year. Our suppliers close from 24th December until 5th January, so we won’t be restocking during that period. If you rely on certain staples, it’s worth adding a bit more than usual to your final pre-Christmas delivery.

We’re a young business and keeping our heads above water is not easy. If you’ve been enjoying your box, two things help us more than you could imagine:

In the Borders, more so than elsewhere, word of mouth matters. Personal trust and good service count for far more than ads ever will. We’d rather grow with new customers who come to us because you say we’re worth a try. If someone you know would appreciate a certified-organic veg box, we’d be grateful if you pointed them in our direction.
